   Can u play VCD's on non multi-regional DVD player? I have a DVD player that isn't multi-regional and therefore doesn't play VCD's. But my mate reckons you can download something off the internet and put it on CD which when played in ur DVD player makes VCD's work. Is he right and if yes where can i get such a thing??

   VideoCDs and SVCDs don't have any kind of region codes unlike DVDs, so SVCD/VCDs can be played with any DVD player anywhere (assuming that the DVD player supports VCD).
