If I install a Eurovox Max V box or a PVR Cable Box, is there any way Virgin will be aware that I am using this box instead of theres?
No feed back on the Eurov0x , if you plug you other Virg1n b0x into a spare TV it will be fine , they wont know about the Eurov0x
Is it a problem? Will they assume I am up to something if their box is not plugged in? Am I likely to get a knock on the door or a phone call etc? (I think you know what I am getting at)!
So whats the answer? Most people will have only 1 incoming cable. I can not have both boxes connected all the time. What do most people do?
I WOULD IMAGINE ... one cable in , use a splitter( Y-connector) connect euro-vox on one output and virgin box on other.. then they would never know.
Ok I will give it a try. What do I ask for in the shop? What is the splitter called. I will also need cable and connectors. Please advise. Thanks.
Just to complicate things further, if I plug in a modified NTL box will this tell Virgin that their box is plugged in, as you said, it is important to have their box plugged in somewhere as they will know if it is not. Is the fact that the NTL box is modified mean that they will not know one of theirs is plugged in? Please help. Thanks.
