Hi i have got a .wmv video on my pc. when i try to play it with media player classic it comes up with a box saying : Stream 0 WMAudio Decoder DMO Audio Switcher Media Type 0: -------------------------- AM_MEDIA_TYPE: majortype: MEDIATYPE_Audio {73647561-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71} subtype: MEDIASUBTYPE_PCM {00000001-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71} formattype: FORMAT_WaveFormatEx {05589F81-C356-11CE-BF01-00AA0055595A} bFixedSizeSamples: 1 bTemporalCompression: 0 lSampleSize: 0 cbFormat: 18 WAVEFORMATEX: wFormatTag: 0x0001 nChannels: 2 nSamplesPerSec: 44100 nAvgBytesPerSec: 176400 nBlockAlign: 4 wBitsPerSample: 16 it also has a drop down box at the top which has Audio Switcher::Out. and it has that 7 times. with each one the area at the top slightly changes here's what they change to : 2 : Stream 0 WMAudio Decoder DMO ACM Wrapper Audio Switcher 3: Stream 0 WMAudio Decoder DMO ACM Wrapper InterVideo Audio Processor Fx Audio Switcher 4: Stream 0 WMAudio Decoder DMO InterVideo Audio Processor Fx Audio Switcher 5: Stream 0 WMAudio Decoder DMO InterVideo Audio Processor Fx ACM Wrapper Audio Switcher 6: Stream 0 ACM Wrapper Audio Switcher 7: Stream 0 ACM Wrapper InterVideo Audio Processor Fx Audio Switcher any help would be appreciated thank you.
Ok update i have now found out that i cant play any of my WMV files yet AVI synth says that i should be able to play them. could this mean a problem with my WMA codec? I also can't play any WMA music files.
Ok i've fixed it with a system restore to 2 days ago. P.S philraz i already have that installed feel free to lock or delete this post
