I first got interested in the PSP the moment I heard of it! Trouble is, im not prepared to fork out for one and then buy all the games aswell! Im not made of money! I've been reading a lot of posts on here containing the subjects 1.5, homebrew, emulators, mods! From what i've heard the PSP is totally full proof! No hacks, no mods nada! Can somebody with the time please explain to me what all this homebrew and mods and hacks mean with regards to the PSP? Is there any ways to backup PSP games and movies It's only now come out in the UK and im thinking of getting one, can somebody tell me what they can do (Not the stuff thats in the PSP manual if you know what I mean...Wink wink)

Buying used games later after their initial launch (esp on ebay) is a great way to play games without resorting to less legal methods (Piracy hurts everyone. For example, game developers have to spend money to develop counter-piracy software, which reduces game content, and increases shelf price). From what i've heard the PSP is totally full proof! No hacks, no mods nada! No electronic system is foolproof. The PSP is just inherently more secure due to its design-- 1) UMD disc, so only the PSP can read it. 2) Upgradeable system firmware, which can be used to correct loopholes. 3) No internal space for a hardware modification. Is there any ways to backup PSP games and movies Yes. Just search Fastloader on google.
