i want to know if you can network bridge with a router so i can get host every time in halo 2. u can post it here or just im me playa4life4060
Just a little side note that could help others trying to setup a bridge... I added another ethernet port(NIC)to my desktop so that I know have two ports. Original port has internet connection coming from my router, new port has crossover cable running to my x-box. Once you install the new ethernet card in your comp, it will automatically set up the drivers. In the bottom right tool bar you see two internet connections. Right click and choose 'Open Network', can't quite remember exactly what it says.. In my situation, my x-box port wasn't connecting when I selected both and tried to bridge. I would get either: -In order to bridge, both connections must be active(or something similar) -Your connection has limited or no activity. If you are on a router, unplug any wires going from your router to other computers (expect the one going to your computer and the WAN coming in with the main internet feed). Once I did this, the bridge config'd easily. You can then plug up the other computers back to your router.
