Can you change the Text Message tone??

Hi

I have an Iphone 3G 8GB can i change the Text tone as i can't bear the ones on the phone i'd like my own. Is there any program's that do it like you do for the ringtones??

you can if it is jailbroken.

I'm worried about jailbreaking will i still be able to use itunes and get the updates from there??? sorry if i sound stupid!!

 

You don't sound stupid, if you don't ask you don't learn I have not had a problem since I jailbroke mine, it is so much better the things it does! You can still connect to iTunes as normal it works the same just don't update to the latest firmware straight away! But it was only a few days when the 2.2.1 jailbreak was released, hope this helps, ask anymore questions you like

Can i ask (sorry) i've been reading up about it and what is the best one to use for windows?? also (sorry again) what about all the applications you already have on there like facebook and stuff will they get deleted??

 

watch a video on YouTube it is so easy, takes about 5mins! Quickpwn i think is wat I use but the videos will all have links to wat to download, I can't remeber if you lose your apps I don't think you do but if u did you can get free apps once it's jailbroken, I know when u upgrade the firmware you don't lose them but can't remember if it does delete the lot or not? Do it and enjoy
