Can you explain what a DreamBox is and what you can do with it?

    What exactly can you do with a dream box? I have directv and i was wondering what this device is. I hear you can program but what will that accomplish? I also seen someone Jtaging it like you can do to the 360.. I would appricate any responses. Thanks alot.
