My dad has some speakers that are in the garage. They are bose speakers. They are hooked up to a 5 disc CD player.. he is willing to give me the whole system. Although. All my music is on my computer, and i have no need for the 5 disc changer. Therefore.. I just want the speakers.. I want to know if their is some kind of adapter i need ..or usb thing that i can get to hook up the speakers to my computer. Is this possible? Do i even need some kind of adapter thing? Help?

Yes there is. I have it done at my house, which is not where I am at now but I will be later. So I'll post when I get home and give you some insight how mine is.

What kind of connectors, if any are currently attached to the wires of the Bose speakers?

Be very careful if you plan to put the speakers on either side of your monitor or anywhere close. It sounds like those Bose speakers may well be unshielded which can destroy a TV or computer monitor depending on the type.

sure you can, my friend did that, what he did was he went out and got a patch cable, spliced it and used some wire shrik to insure the wires will be secure, DO NOT USE MERETS they will cause some feed back
