Or Dual layer drive with out effecting the Xbox system and its Functionality? I guess I am asking can I install a recordable drive and still play xbox games as well as back ups with messing up my xbox?
There are certain PC DvD drives that could be installed into the xbox but not without extensive modding...but remember, if that was done, you wouldn't be able to read xbox discs. It's best to use one of the 4 xbox disc drives; Samsung, Thompson, Philips, or Hitachi.
