can you lock a ps2(ffxi) hdd for xbox use?

has anybody tried this and done it succesfully

 

try and reformat it and see if it works cant do any harm then post the results here.

 

well i have reformatted it but when i try to lock it it just waits and keeps typeing y's but i found a way to try and lock it anouther way ill let you know

 

any lcuk with this? I'm getting rid of my ps2 and got a 160g barracuda hd in it, want to reformat it & exchange it with the 40gb in my xbox

 

i havent had any luck at all i actually just get an error message but with a barracuda drive you should be just fine i found certain hard mods that cost less then 20$ actually let you play with it unloacked so hope that helps thats what im gonna do for this one
