Hi there, I hope this is in the right section, I would like to make Legit back-ups of my PS2 games, since My son likes to slide them on the floor. I need to make backups. or do I need a DVD burner? and is there a simple way to do this process? Thanks gang
1) You need a DVD reader and PLENTY of skills for modifying the disc layout in order to fit it on a CD. 2) Or you need a DVD burner.
Hi there, you can only make backups of CD based PS2 games. You could you use a CloneCD,CDMate and CDRwin to make backups of these discs. CloneCD and CDMate both have presets for PS2 games ie LibCrypt, so just select that profile when making a backup. Remember even if you have a fast burner all PS2 discs should be burnt at 4x only. PS2 laser can't pick it up otherwise, finally you will need a modchip to playback the games. Hope that helps!! chrome ;0)
Sounds Great, where do I find the profiles for the PS2 Settings? on CD Clone. SO I take it I cannont backup PS2 DVD Based Games without a DVD burner? I've heard of a process to do it with just a CD burner, just looking where to find it.. Thanks
