can you preview before burning?

    Can you play the files that you are ready to burn, to sort of preview them? I want to make sure everything is good before wasting blank discs.

    Yes open up the Video_TS.IFO with power dvd.
    But bear one thing in mind, just because they play on your computer doesn't mean they will play on your standalone.

    You cacn also use rewritable media for testing.

    I understand about it not necessarily playing on my stand alone player, I think that is more an issue with the media type and the final burning program. Is "power dvd" the name of the program, and are there other programs that do it also?
