Can you see browsing history when using different comp on a modem?

    I may just be stupid but wondering if there is a way that someone could tell my browsing history if I plugged my comp to a modem - I just use my laptop at work and disconnect the desktop. It is possible for MY history to be detected on the modem?

    on the modem no but on the company's server yes.
