Hi, im new to the ps2 stuff here, but i have been streaming games to my cube for a while now and i was wondering if it is possible to stream games into the ps2? I no someone will tell me to read up on this before i ask, but there is like 19 pages of treads on this topic alone so if this has alredy been discussed a link to the discusion would be great. Thanx
I dont think the ps2 can stream games like the GC. But it does go one step further and lets you transfer game images from ur PC into the PS2 hd. I have been playing my games from the hd for a while now.
ive been thinking about that too. how do u transfer the images to the hd? i know u need to format the hd first.
Anyone with help? All I know is u need to format the hd with hdloader. I know u connect the formatted hd to the pc but in what way that lets u send images to the hd?
download hd handiness from ps2 ownz and once you connect a ps2 hd to a pc, open hd handiness and put a game in your dvd drive in ur pc and install games. dont get any version of hd handiness above .70, i heard .75 causes problems like corrupt hdds. there might be newer versions i dunno.
I use the Faplink client to transfer games directly to the PS2. All you need to do is load up faplink on ur ps2, run the client, and connect, then you can send whatever you want to the hd.
thanx guys, but do any of u have a link to a guide to this ps2 game on hard drive thing. And to the guy that wants to no how to stream games into ur ps2, u can go to the gamecube discusions at this forum and there will be guides and Q and A.
