What you can do is copy your whole itunes music folder from your computer put it on a external drive or you can use the back up feature on itunes then if you copy the itunes music folder copy that folder to the same destination on the other computer on Xp is on mymusic/itunes, make sure to copy the folder called license back up. and paste it also, on Vista is on user/music/itunes. if you open your music folder you will see the itunes folder. ok if you use the back up feature i sugest backing up to a dvd depends how much music you have on your system, with itunes open insert a blank dvd or cd and itunes will ask if you like to create a back up. and on the next computer with itunes open just insert that cd or dvd and itunes will ask if you would like to restore from that back up set. Try that Good luck.
the problem i have is that i got all my music from a mates computer and i have very little music on my computer. i want to be able to sync my ipod with my apple g4 so i can continue to add music to the library but everytime i connect it it says i will have to erase my ipod memory to do so. any suggestions
you may want to use a third party software like yamipod to copy your entire library from your ipod to the computer also you can ask your mate if he can make a itunes disk for you that way you can copy all those to yours and you can continue to add songs the normal way. that the best recomended way by apple it self.
