Can u get a vcd that was 2cd's like cd 1 and cd2 and make it a divx or a xvid?? so u can burn it to one dvd???plz help me with this?
First convert the vcd to mpeg using vcd gear and then join the two mpeg files (because you say its a 2cd movie) into one mpeg by following this guide http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/womble_mpeg_join_tutorial.cfm then load up the file in AutoGK or any other encoder you like and convert to XviD or DivX.
Should be able to do it on 1 CD. I would probably use AVISynth to frameserve, avoiding the need to join. One thing though. VCD's are 4:3, so you either need to resize to 1:1 or set the PAR accordingly when encoding (XviD) or after encoding with MPEG4Modifier.
