DVDFAB reads the movie fine but when it starts to copy it to my hard drive I get the error message asking me to "re-try, abort- ignore- ignore all" I tried using the new beta 6210 but get the same error message. It looks like I am the only one having a problem.

Idealcopy did just fine I am using the trial version right now and with the new update it worked just fine. These guys are alot faster at getting the codes broken than the guys at dvd fab. I purchased dvdfab and have ended up using idealcopy because they have the updates alot faster than dvdfab. give them a try

Put the disc in your dvd player and play the movie. Then you need to press the display button to see what the title number of the movie is. When you load the movie through DVDFab do movie only and look for the title number you checked for on the dvd. In the case of G-Force it is #34. I saw this suggestion in another form on this site and it works every time.

I would recommend doing movie only for most discs. Disney and Paramount have used a different encryption of late that makes it has made it harder to back up a movie. And Lionsgate is always good for that with their movies too.

I do not use DVDShrink but I use AnyDVD to rip to my HDD. I got a perfect rip with AnyDVD, but then I use DVD-ReMake Pro to finalize the film.

I know that my answer is not perfect, but at least I can say that AnyDVD did the job.
