i use clone DVD, Alcohol, lots of diferent utilities for copying my DVD'S with and once in a while i get one given today i got a copied star wars 3 from a freind for my kids to watch ( bulkpaq 4x speed DVD-R) NO PROBLEM used these before on my PC put in my vdv player upstairs plays ok apart from an annoying counter timer ACROSS the top ( ish) but i took it down staits as i have to give him it back and my PC does not even recognise anything on the disk?? none of my copy programs do either?? clone dvd dvd copy tools etc etc etc whats?? up?? beyond me right now new protection or somthing?? and hello everybody looks like a good forum here
hi i think its the burner or drive not seeing it, bulkpaq are sh*T anyhow but, it could a combination of that and try a firmware upgrade for the drive...
hmm yeah i have had a look i have the lastest driver there is worst comes to worst i can record it onto a video before i give it back pc wont pick it up have a sneaky feeling it may have been copied dvd to dvd before i got it not sure if that would present a problem for my pc or not nayway ty for your reply
hi no dvd copy to dvd copy should be ok, dependant on media used of course / drive used... have you a dvdrom to read?
Would guess that you have a cheap non genuine Asian copy - failure to recognise DVD is quite common with these copies.
dvd rom to read ? well i have a pioneer dvd rewriter i have copied loads before without problems from drive to drive not sure about the ( dvd rom to read) slightly confused about what you mena 100% regards
hi i have a pioneer writer that cant read certain discs but my samsung dvdrom reader (not a writer only reader) only can!
