cannot delete folder in program files.........

I recently installed zonealrm, and after discovering that it is the worst peace of trash out there, i deleted. The problem now is; whenever i go to delete the folder in the program file it says

"cannot delete zvalscan.dll: acces is denied."

can someone please clarify what this means to me?

When I deleted zonealarm via the add and remove program, I restarted the pc then deleted the folder in my HDD programs folder. I had no problems removing it, also delete it from your registry.

 

I agree the newer versions (6.5.XXX)of Zone Alarm are trash. The last good running version was 6.1.744.001. I made the mistake of updating and had one issue after another. I had one heck of a time even getting the new version completely uninstalled so I could go back. There are uninstalling instructions on their forum if you can't get it completely out.
