Cannot format computer

    ok I want to format my computer but when I put my operating disc when I get to the agreement part it will not let me hit f8 to agree. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

    can use a win9x boot disk to format hd but will be in fat32 not ntfs

    Does the keyboard work at all in the setup? If you have a USB keyboard, some usb keyboards have problems in the setup.

    Also make sure you scroll down to the end of the agreement before you can press F8.

    Just use a win98 startup disk and boot from that and u should be able to format your hard drive.

    Then make sure ur bios boot seqence is set to read off your CD Drives.
