Cannot login, blank login screen, safe mode doesnt work

    Hey guys i cannot login to xp at all.
    I am running Xp Home Edition Service Pack 2 and i have all te updates so far.

    I cannot login, whenever xp gets finished booting and when it is supposed to go to the login screen it just goes blank.

    Safe mode wont work(EVERY MODE WONT WORK)

    how can i fix this in the recovery console?

    The only way i see this fixed is either by reformating or booting off a recovery disc or just try to boot off the OS CD without formating and do a repair install.

    Welp i just tried to fix it. And i did i had to rebuild the registry using the windows xp recovery console.
