cannot open new install of nero 7 essentials

    This file requires advrcntr2.dll How do I get this?

    Try to do a clean uninstall by using Nero 7 Clean Tool itself and do a fresh reinstall to see if that helps. http://www.nero.com/enu/support-nero7-tools-utilities.html

    NOTE: don't or never uninstall Nero by add/remove, always use Nero's Clean Tool first, then restart system, clean all left over via CCleaner. Then reinstall Nero.
