I watched a video using VLC but I wanted to play it in Windows Media player and it did not work. I do not understand because it plays other mp4 files just fine. VLC plays it just fine. I do not understand it.
wmp runs on codecs,which you need to download.vlc will play pretty much anything you throw at it without downloading anything.its beyond me why anyone would choose to use wmp at all.
install klite full this will provide what you need for wmp it will also give you option whether you want wmp or its own media player as default unless you have codecs already installed.If that is the case delete it then install klite
Thank you for the solution. I thought good old Microsoft would directly make many codecs for its own media player.
