How do I solve this problem, I burned to backups and both of them get same error "connection failed" every single game I played (9 online) fails. Anyone having the same problem. It aint my DSL connection I played Rainbow Six online between my Madden disappointments, and I have no PC connected to my router only my 360 and every other game I've benn able to play online (GOW, Smackdown, All Pro 2k8). Any ideas.
Are your copies of Rainbow GOW Smackdown original or are they backups? What I am getting at is can you play any backups or just originals. Do you have an original Madden to test against?
So to answer my ? yes you can play other backups online just not the Madden 08. You can try your original copy of Madden 08 if you have access to it again to see if that disc is the problem. Have you ever been able to play 08 online?
Probably a problem with your rip, you might want to hit up Block Buster again and get a fresh rip to burn.
UPDATE: I might have this problem straightened out, I went on-line to the EA Sports Website and followed there various troubleshooting steps. One of them had me open some ports on my router. After I did that and the router refreshed itself I was able to play an unranked game from start to finish (and I won 28-3). So I am going to try a second game (ranked) against my friend who I had previously been unable to get a game on with (5 tries, 5 disconnects). Will let you know how it turns out, by the way if anyone has any other suggestions or they have had this happen to them and fixed it please HOLLA at your boy. Thanks for the assistance
that and blockbuster is such a bad place to rent games from if hes going to just copy them. they dont have overnight rental, just week long rentals for like 12 bucks or something like that.
we got family video here and its just 2.79 a night for 360 games. or 5 something for 3 days and 7 something for a full week. and BB doesnt even let you rent it for 7 days, their idea of a week is 5 days.
