I can rip and burn on nero and cd creator.
    BUT
when I use dycrypter it rips and burns without an errors. But the finsished dvd won't play on any of my dvd players and I get a message on my PC that says "cannot play these types of files."

    any ideas?

Ps: I'm using decrypter in order to avoid the copyright warning message.

You should be using the ISO read and ISO write in Decrypter. Is this what you are doing??

Somethins wrong. Or I'm still doing something wrong. For the heck of it I just ripped another movie with dvd shrink and burnt it with cdcreator, but again my comptuter says "will not play this type of files"

So....it has to be happening when its ripped. right? Or could there be a hardware problem? Could there be an arguemnt beteen my computer and shrink and decrypter?

If your CD Creator is the Roxio version I would stop using it. It has conflicts and problems with many of the dvd backup programs. In Shrink, is a box to check so Shrink will auto start Nero for the burn back. Decrypter can also be used as the burn engine for Shrink. Here is another good set of guides to look at.

also codecs are needed or compressing / decompressing / encoding / transcoding / audio changes / burning / and also play back etc etc.....

its a good starting block foundation for dvd projects and alike...
