It all started when kaspersky said there was a virus, it will not delete the virus. Most of my problems will not run saying my internet security settings prevent one or more files to run. I cannot us regedit or msconfig. Any ideas before I take a hammer to my pc.

try using safemode & edit your msconfig\startup as did that on a customer's computer because of a malware.

Some of the problems are fixed. Yes you are right MALWARE!!!
Now I am getting your windows security centre service is not running. If I click to start it up it says it cannot start it. Also a strange fault with kaspersky a/v 2011 saying there are virus files on a drive that does not have any of the named files.

    Hey -ddp- how are you?

I would try malwarebytes in safe mode and do a full system scan. Keep doing this unitl all is gone then use superantispyware and do a full system scan to get rid of anything malwarebytes might have missed.

Report back once eveything is done and let us know how it goes.

then just leave the security center disabled. as long as you have KAV working and all the malware, spyware and trojans deleted you should be fine. Just keep an eye out just in case.

    Dear sir,
if you think that virus is removed by kaspersky, than you should update your Kasper antivirus and than again start scanning.
