Hello. I'm new to this forum and have seen nothing but good things about it and am coming here after trying very hard to get this to work on my own.

I've just received my R4 SDHC from a website called Gamesyeah.com. It is of course, a clone. It comes in a gold box and has a yellow sticker on the front.

No Cd came with it, and no link for firmware is posted on this site, it is ONLY an R4 SDHC, not for the DSI or an R4-III.

I have downloaded and tried the latest firmwares from the www.r4sdhc.com site, but none of them worked.

For the very latest firmware on that site, 2.10 i believe it is, it will turn on, begin to load, and then tell me "Please upgrade hardware for support latest firmware." I then proceeded to test every firmware on linfox (By downloading, then extracting to the 4gb sandisk microSD. That is ALL I did, I may have been doing something wrong.)

On all the other firmwares, my nintendo DS loads, the ds icon comes up as "Star Wars: Lethal Alliance," and when I press it, the touch screen turns black, the top screen turns white, and I can't do anything else.

Could anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong or need to do different?

Also, I did format the card with the panasonic formatter.

hello, I visit that website, and can be sure that your r4 sdhc is from www.r4sdhc.com.
Then the kernel is right: 2.10T.
