i burnt dvd video files to dvd+rw with Nero 9 to watch on dvd player, and the movie freeze after 5 minutes. I changed the dvd brand , but the result's still then same. Could someone help me? thanks
see if it plays alright on another computer & dvd player to see if that still happens or not. what disks are you using?
Hi ddp I used Maxell dvd+rw, then Sony dvd+rw. I played it on my computer with Power DVD and i worked fine, I only had problem when iI played it in my dvd player. I had used these 2 brands before, and they worked fine, the problem happned when I bought news disc
hmmm.. you have nero.. why not do a disk quality check on a new one compared to a previous one.. funny about the "freeze after 5 mins" tho.. my dvd player is very very picky about +rw disks.. some play fine, others it doesn't want to know.. same brand and batch and same image burned.... picky !!
per the suggestion of ps355528, does Nero show the media ID code to compare the old playable with the new non-playable. I found the Staples branded DVD+RW work ok (they are made by CMC ). http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia?dvdmediadvdridsearch=CMC MAG.W02 The only other RW disks I used were Maxell DVD-RW, which failed quickly.

The VideoHelp site show reviews for both ID's varying from 'good' to 'mixed', so either try them on another player or get another brand with a different ID. That five minute deal is odd.
