I don't know if people have this problem anymore, but I did today and here is something that worked for me (it might work for you too). I needed to burn an ISO of a Linux distribution to a DVD+RW, and I kept getting this error. So I tried to do an erase of the disk. I did a Quick Erase, and then I was able to burn the ISO without any problems. This may not work for everyone but worth giving a shot.
A firmware update or using top quality media can also help that issue. I typically don't use RW's anyway.
