Does anyone here know about what new modifications/changes Canopus is going to be adding to the Canopus ADVC-300 video converter? From all my research, this is the best analog-to-digital product on the market (though it's not cheap at about $500).

I've heard that they're coming out with a new version in April, which will add further enhancements to the vhs imagery that's downloaded into a computer. Does anyone have some advance news on this one? I'd love to hear it.

    Thanks to you in advance!

I checked the canopus website and I haven't seen mention of a new modification to the ADVC 300. If someone knows, I would like to know because I am going to purchase the ADVC 300 here shortly. I would rather get the new version if Canopus is going to upgrade the ADVC 300.

I e-mailed Canopus and asked them about this and here is their reply:

    [bold]Hello Jack,

There has been no mention of this from Canopus. To date, I have not heard of this product. The ADVC-300 is the latest and current model, which has the timebase corrector.

    Thank you,

    Matt[/bold]
