I backed up Old Dogs on the second try (first time failed to read) using DVDFAB Platinum version 6.2.2.0
More than likely its because you have an old version. Get DVDFab 6.2.1.8 http://dvdfab.com/mlink/download.php?g=DVDFAB6
DVDFab 6.2.1.8 doesn't work. It tells you to buy or renew DVD to DVD or wait for new version of DVDFab HD Decryptor. Tried DVD Shrink with DVDFab Passkey and it says Invalid DVD Navigation Structure.
I don't have that program nor can I purchase it cuz I don't have a CC at the time. house Payment. Out the wazoo
OLD DOGS Backup SUCCESS I'm making a backup to DVD and AVI and it was time consuming to get a clean copy. RIPit4ME doesn't work. DVD Backup DVDFab 7.0.1.2 (MainMovie) Track 34 Then ran VOBlanker and FixVTS for any other issues DVDShrink to backup PROBLEM: Since there was a problem at 44min into the movie in the bathroom when Robin Williams takes his pills and then at the car getting his clubs the screen has pixel signal breakdown. Voices are also out of alignment. AVI Backup Using AVS Video Editor or DVDFab 6.0.2.2 'DVD to Mobile' to make AVI files is the normal process, but in this case it wasn't that easy since when you take the files from the harddrive give you the PROBLEM above. Makes the DVD fine but why not the AVI? Tried many different ways.... then AVI SUCCESS - Once you have created your DVD backup go back to DVDFab 6.0.2.2 'DVD to Mobile' and make Source the DVD movie then on file size choose Generic audiocopy Divx MP3 and change the video size (I choose 624x240 or variable if based on aspect ratio). You can change the volume level on the low left from 100% which is weak to higher (I choose 175 and works great) Continue to next step to create AVI and in the Generic folder you will get your AVI and no playback Problem as mentioned. I still have to watch the entire movie.... VOICES are OFF in AVI- You will need to download AVI MUX at http://www.gromkov.com/faq/faq2004-0064.html so that you can you calibrate the speech..... ( I used the calue of +2000) which is 2 seconds and got it dead on. NOTE:- I convert all my movies to AVI now to save space and cost. Buy a Media player and large HD to have them at your finger tips.
