I have no clue what is going on, i download files and then convert them with winavi, then i try and burn with nero 7 and it transcodes fine but as soon as it starts to burn it shuts down, can anyone let me know what i need to do and why it is shutting down
They are video clip files, but i have had trouble with everything that i try to burn that i have downloaded. I use the winavi and it puts it into the video ts folder and then try to burn it but it always restarts the computer as soon as it starts to burn.
simple i bet you have dvd43 installed dont you, take it off and bin it this will be the cause of your problem.
i guess after it is converted, but why would it cause nero to restart the computer as soon as it starts to write to the dvd, what do i need to do, or what else should i use to be able to put it on dvd
it conflicts with nero all the time bin it and invest in anydvd, uninstall dvd43 reboot and then burn your dvd and let us now how you get on
so you are saying i should get anydvd and the other thing, what does anydvd do and will i still be using nero to burn it or not?
yes anydvd just runs in the background you dont have to do anything you will still burn with nero, anydvd takes away the encryption so you can back up the dvd,and as i said uninstall dvd43.
ok using the divxtodvd took forever and i was still having problems, and i finally got the winavi to work, so that is good to go, how do i know which version of nero i have and if there is any updates? All my nero says is version 7 ultra, and since i got the winavi to work should i stick with it, or does anyone have success with recode? Thanks for all the help i really appreciate it
well it works fine but my progressive scan dvd player has been messing up for about a month and my other one isnt progressive scan and it gets a little skippy so i need to get a new dvd player what should i look for to make sure i have no problems and smooth playback of my media?
well the one it is playing in now is playing it but it is a little jumpy, but it is a cheap dvd player so i didnt know if a better one would make is play normal?
have read this thread from one end to the other but you dont mention what speed you burn at or the media you are using
the burner i am using at the moment untill my other one gets back writes at 1x but my other one i will be using by thursday writes up to 16x and the media i have to use with this one has to be dvd-r and i am using fujifilm, my other burner supports all media, so do you think that has something to do with it? If so what media should i use?
so that is the media i should use, and one more question when i am starting my burn with my files with nero it asks me if i want to merge in one file or to treat them each as individual files, what does this mean and what is the best option? Thanks so much for your help
