Clonecd, Alcohol 120% and Blindwrite5 are not capable of backing up DVD based pc games at this time.

If you wanna play with out the original disc I would suggest making an image to your hardrive then using daemon tools to mount the image to its virtual drive.

Thats if you dont mind playing with out the original disc.

Any more questions feel free to ask.

Im not familiar with clonecd but let me try.

If your able to write the image to your harddrive so you can burn it later then thats what you need to do (it should be either a mds. aned a mdf. file, mount the mds. file to the virtual drive). after that get daemon tools from here http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5

once daemon tools is installed you can mount battle for middle earth to its virtual drive.

Sorry for the lame instructions kinda in a hurry

Ok create a folder in your C: drive called ILoveADgames (just as an example) then open clonecd and write the image to your new folder that you created, you might have to browse for it when clonecd ask for you to select a destination to write to, now let er rip

Once clonecd is done writing the image to your newly created folder on your HardDrive you should have a two files named mds. and mdf. or even LOTR just keep seperate from other games until you know the difference.

I hope you have d-tools installed, if not please do so.
    Once installed follow the directions

    1. Right-click on the DAEMON Tools trayicon (should show up in red in the bottom right hand corner)
    2. Select Virtual CD/DVD-ROM
    3. Select number of virtual drives (just select 1 for now)
    4. Click Mount
    5. Browse and select the image you wish to mount (look in you new folder you created)
    6. Click OK or double-click on the file to mount which should be you mds. file, but if you only have one then select that one.

you should be ready to go, make sure the disc is out

not bad, you should be able to copy the game just fine with clonecd.

LOTR is Safedisc protected so you should be fine with clonecd.

Do you have 2 drives? if so then select copy disc and off you go.

put the blank in your cd-rw drive, should be the bottom one. then insert the original in the top drive.

select the two discs in the picture below and select your settings.
