I'm getting the following message when I try to burn an ISO file in Nero: The xxx.ISO is larger than 2 gb and therefore cannot be stored in an ISO file system. Please use the UDF file system to write such large files. This can be done by selecting another file type.

What's up? I have no trouble using dvd decrpyter to write an iso file, but I want to do it with Nero. I have ver 6.6.0.18. I'm tried using dvd video, dvd-rom iso and dvd-rom udf and get the same message every time.

    thanks,

    chuck

According to my knowledge, yes.... you CAN burn ISO with both Nero Express or Nero Burning Rom. Below is a step taken from a guide of mine in the PS2 DVD backups forum in query to "rebuiding and burning" PS2 games, but you can burn with DVD movies that you've created an ISO image as well. This works perfectly.

    ***STEP 5***

Burn your final ISO with Nero Express, Nero Burning Rom, DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn. Use whatever burning engine you're more experiences with. For MDS file, I prefer DVD Decrypter, but for PS2 ISO, I prefer Nero Express or Burning Rom because Nero will "automatically" change the "Book Type" into DVD-ROM for me. Thus, making my backup looks more original. Again, in this guide, I will use Nero Burning Rom. On my next guide, I will be using DVD Decrypter.

Now open up Nero StartSmart and choose Nero Burning Rom.

That's it.... enjoyed it and Happy New Year. *NOTE: I've tested both of my backups and they both plays flawlessly. However, if anyone "rebuild" or ripped it and burned straight back on a DVd-R or DVD+R and is having troubles loading/playing, then it is obvious that there is something wrong with your PS2 laser, or it's the media you're using.

Here is how to burn ISO Image with Nero Express -- again, it's taken from my guide in the PS2 DVD backups forum. It works Perfectly for both DVD movies ISO image or PS2 games ISO.

Updated 12-27-2005: "How to burn PS2 game using Nero Express, including NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED"

This is just a "mini guide" for those that have not burned their PS2 games using Nero Express and or this is mainly for burning any 4.5GB PS2 games or for burning "an already rebuild ISO PS2 games" only. Give it a shot and see how you like it. Again, the choice is yours (either ImgBurn, DVD Decrypter ro Nero is fine).
