Hi there, You have old firmware ! Latest seems to be [bold]BYX5[/bold] http://sony.storagesupport.com/dvdrw/downloads/710FWBYX5/710A_BYX5.zip Also try to burn at 4x not MAX, see if this helps. You are using MCC-03 (Verbatim) those are excellent media !
thanks, I'll see how that goes. Its interesting but it seems that decrypter got further along before the fail than imgbrn did.
