Nero API version: 7.2.0.3 and 7.2.0.3b

These latest versions of Nero are full of bugs, I recommend you uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install 7.0.8.2 a more stable version from here
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845

Update firmware to JS04 from here ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/information_storage/software/JS04.exe

You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml

Do I need this Roxio Driver for Any Other Programs?... I have so many as I've really gotten into this encoding stuff... such as:

    DVD Shrink
    VSO's ConvertXtoDVD
    VideoReDo Plus
TMPGEnc Software Suite 2005 (including 3.0 Express & Plus 2.5)
    VirtualDub
    Ulead's Video Studio 10
    Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4
    Ulead MediaStudio Pro ver.8.0
    Ulead PhotoImpact ver.11.0
    Sonic's MyDVD Plus
    Muvee AutoProducer 4.0

just to name a few... will zaping the Roxio Driver effect these programs?

    Also...
    [bold]2:[/bold]
If I run the "ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/information_storage/software/JS04.exe" will that replace the existing ES04 version and should I back up the original somehow in case that .exe fails/causes problems???

    Also...
    [bold]3:[/bold]
I had this 7.0.8.2 version but due to the bugs is it really worth downgrading... this is a [bold]HUGE[/bold] program to uninstall and reinstall again... Also I'm not sure where I put my serial # in my house after the install so if I reinstall it where can I find it on my program before I uninstall it....?

    Also...
    [bold]4:[/bold]
Is all this really the reason I can't get the VIDEO_TS folder onto a disc as an .ISO???

a detailed response to any/all of my questions is very much appreatiated and I Thank You Again... [bold]I LOVE THIS FORUM !!![/bold]

All the above suggestions were made for a reason
    1. No you dont need Roxio
2.Its a firmware update that helps your burner recognize newer discs
    3.
This statement is FALSE that is why we recommend 7.0.8.2
4.Your serial number is usually displayed at the start of your log or alternatively, open StartSmart and click on the "flame", it will show you your s/n.

[bold]Thank You So Much for your assistance and timely responses...[/bold]

[bold]I didn't mean to suggest that the 7.0.8.2 version had bugs...
only that i once had that version...
and due to the bugs in my "current version" is it really worth Downgrading...

I will follow all of your advice and try to get the VIDEO_TS folder to burn as an .ISO again...

I love this Forum... Thanks for your part in making AFTERDAWN the best Forum I've ever seen!!![/bold]
