    Hello!!

I've been having some problems with my DVD-RW (LG GSA-4120B)

I've been burning without problems but 3 days ago the problem started, while trying to burn a Video DVD I'm having as a result: [bold]Could not perform end of Disc-at-once[/bold]

    Here's the log

    Help would be appreciated

Your firmware is two revisions behind, current version is A117 and can be found here:
    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1841

Nero is also a little behind, try 6.6.0.18 here: http://httpdl2.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe

UGH...you need some more ram, you'll need to do some serious digging to get by with less than 512K, no multitasking!!!

Turn off high compatability mode when burning to DVD-R, you can only booktype DVD+R, and that is what this feature is for.

This error typically means that your burner doesn't like your discs, but Fuji's aren't terrible...not great either, a firmware update could fix this error.

At a glance, your log shows:

    1) Your version of nero are a bit old, you should update to at least version 6.6.0.18, but first uninstall the old from you PC.

    package1
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

    package2
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

    3) "Recorder: <HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4120B>Version: A115", update your burner's firmware to version A117 found here, just enter the model# in the search field (GSA-4120B).

    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php

    OR

    Get it directly from here
    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1841

4)Turn DMA on for this device:
    CdRomPeripheral : SCSIVAX DVD/CD-ROM 2.7a Vax347s Port 2 ID 0 DMA: Off

    Here's a guide:
    http://www.onthegosoft.com/dma_setting_nt.htm

    5)Here:
    Physical memory : 254MB (261100kB)
    Free physical memory: 53MB (54608kB)
    Memory in use : 79 %

You should have at least 512MB of memeory, consider getting more, 53MB of free ram left is too low. Don't multitask while burning and shutdown what apps are running and not needed while burning.

    6)Here:
    Media Specific [16..63]:
    00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................
    00 02 FE 10 00 02 FF A0 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................
    00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................
    AND
    Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR)

This usually means that your burner is not recognizing the media correctly, the firmware update may fix this, but if still having problems burning try another brand, I have always had good luck with Sony DVD+R disks.

    7) Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)

Have shrink or nero recode create smaller file sizes so as to not burn too close to the disks outer edge. In shrink goto: preferences, in the preferences tab choose custom from the dropdown menu and enter a value of 4300.
