Im trying to use XP, service pack 2, to open folders/icons on desktop but when I double click on them they do not open, however I do get the hourglass, just no open folders. I've ran Spyware Doctor, Ad-aware, Spybot, Registy Mechanic, Max Registry Cleaner and no virus/trojan/spyware have been found, I've scanned with Hijackthis, and nothing seems out of the ordinary (will post by req) After I click on the icons, and try again the computer slows down dramatically, however Task Manager just shows the folder, no weird stuff in background.
