for some reason i can't connect 2 my xbox using flash fxp i softmodded my xbox and it's got unleashx on it i typed the ip adress right and the user and pw are xbox i'm using a crossover cable directly to it it is set to static can some1 please help i have asked on neXBC and on a dozen other forums can some 1337 expert help?
Ive think ive got a solution to ur problem. There is a program called qwix that can ftp tour xbox.i had the same problem with flashfxp so isaid f%$#@ this and did a google search for qwix. i downloaded it and works fine try this if this doesnt work ask for more help.
try using internet explorer as an ftp program instead of the thing your using, i had the same problem. in internet explorer type in ftp://xbox:xbox@(your xbox ip)
thnx for the help but it still doesn't work. i have tried the qwix thing i tried changing the ip i don't understand the browser part any1 else have any suggestions?
Go into your xbox's IP settings, and see what they go to when you don't make it a static ip address. I had this problem with a friend's unit. It turned out that the network adapter had shorted, and I had to upload all files through CDs.... A major pain, but it's good if you save yourself some time by checking this. If it defaults the ip address to 0.0.0.0 you have a non functioning network adapter, and short of replacing it, there's not much to be done. But hey, at least if it turns out this way, you'd know...

If there isn/t a connection between the xbox and pc then it doesn't matter what particular fanboy app you use... I use Konqueror or FTP pro... The search button found that tut in less than 1 second.
are you sure you set your ip's right? when i first did mine it took me a nhour becuase i got one number wrong
