I have a modded xbox, it has evo x. It does not have the chip in it, someone did it fom their box. I dont know if this matters or not. I have been trying to hook up for a long time now and cant get it. I have na crossover cable going from my box to pc. Since I dont have a router I go to icp settings and manually set up ip. I am not hooked up to the net while connecting to the xbox. I have tried craxtion, and flashfxp. No luck. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??? please help

I know it finally got me up and running My problem was that i did not set up my default internet connect to allow internet sharing, so it would not let the xbox share the connection. Once i did that and the PC assigned an IP adress to the Xbox, i just put that IP address in FlashFXP and i was up and running.
