I like AnyDVD much better!!! They are on the ball with their updates. BUT I have also bought FAB and when I've used it, it works. I always use AnyDVD with Nero Recode and never a problem until IM2 lately. They were actually ahead of my needs but I did not know the 6700 update was out because I had disabled my net connection before trying to burn IM2.

This did not work for me...it ripped it and then I burned it like you said but the finished product does not function properly, it skips all over the place. Please help. Thanks, Rammstein.

All right... don't get mad at me for resurrecting a dead thread. It's only been a few weeks.

I, too, been having a heck of a time with Ironman 2. I ripped the disc to my computer with no problem... at least I think so. I used DVDFab 7 to rip it. It took forever, but it worked. It probably took twenty minutes to check the source disc. It eventually finished that and I was able to rip it. The ripping process was lengthy, too... probably took me two hours.

The multiple movie titles like this disc has is a new one on me, and I think I know what I'm doing. I've seen multiple titles before, but never anything like this. Did a little searching, and the popular opinion seemed to be that title 29 was the one to use. So, I used it.

It processed fine... it just seems a little odd. First of all, it took almost no time to process. Second, when I check the properties of the folder containing the newly processed movie files, it came up at just over a gig. Why so small? Shouldn't it be closer to 4.36GB?

I have yet to burn the disc to see if it works... don't wanna waste the blank if I messed something up. I figured I'd ask some questions first. I don't understand why it would come out so small. Did I do something wrong here?

Just so you know, I've used a couple different programs to encode title 29 and the problem is the same. The ones I used are as follows:

    DVD2ONE
    DVDShrink
    DVDFab 8

So, if there's something wrong, I'm guessing it happened when I ripped it. I've only ever had problems during the ripping process with actually ripping the files to my hard drive... I've never had it happen that I've been able to rip, but had some sort of corruption happen during the process.

What do you think? Why is my movie so small?!! It's giving me an inferiority complex... I'm gonna have to go buy a big truck or start shooting steroids to compensate!!

DVD Fab is out with version 8032, they even sent the message via email. Rerip it after you install and see if it does better and let us know. I had no trouble doing this movie with anydvd and NeroRecode day of release.

I'll try it. Heading to Australia for a month, though... might not get to it before I leave.

    Thanks...

Here's what happened to me with a rental DVD Iron Man 2. This one is REALLY bizarre.
The 1st disk I rented wouldn't even play properly on my computer, can't remember if it played ok on standalone Sony DVD player ... doesn't matter. So took disk back got another one. Similar problems with 2nd disk but then cleaned it and then was ok on computer. Then proceeded to rip and nothing I had would do it. DVDFab, DVD43, Procoder 3, etc. Then figured instead of ripping to do full ISO disk copy. Found none of my ISO copiers would work ... bad sector errors. Then downloaded WinISO and it worked and got rid of bad sector error protection. Now had ISO file on HD. Mounted ISO image file and copied files to hard drive which worked EXCEPT that it made duplicate copied of all files all the way from VTS_01 up to VTS_014 along with all IFO and BUP files up to that number. The resulting file count was waaay to high and total space use for the folder was 41.4 gigs !!! This is insane !!! Clicking on any IFO file launched movie menu and then can play movie with no problems. Click on any individual VOB file and video is hooped.
I bet no one has had this happen here. Never seen anything like it. Still haven't been able to figure out how to sort out the files needed to make it work.
Only thing I haven't tried is to burn the original successful ISO image to a DVD9 disk. I'm afraid to lose a disk since I paid sooo much for them. Might have to bite the bullet and try anyway.
I'll get back to ya if I decide to try and if it werks.
