Started ripping SAW IV now that I have a quick minute. I thought that I would post and say it looks like the new beta version of DVDFABPLATINUM4 will work with the protection... at least throughout the ripping stage... I'll take a look at how it handles when I throw it into the dvd player and I'll let you know.

You should be able to use ANYDVD and rip a successful copy of woodcock. I did it with Platinum4 (but that's becuase it is my program of choice) but from what I understand the newest version of ANYDVD should work with the protection on woodcock.

    Cheers!

OK You will be happy to know that SAW IV ripped fine/burned within about 10 minutes. I played it and it is a COMPLETE 100% back up. Full disc, all menus, audio etc. No lag in audio, video, anything. PERFECTION!!! This is why is I LOVE dvdFABPlatinum4.

Well since no one has responded to this, I would imagine that they all got it to work as well? Let's hope so.

This thread's about Saw IV.... however the same workarounds apply to World's End and virtually every other film out there. Here's the World's End thread though as i say, the same fixes apply; plus you mentioned only DVD Shrink so i assume you haven't taken time to actually look thru this Saw IV thread yet....

This is the Saw IV thread. There is an existing POTC At Worlds End thread you would have found if using the search feature...

Ah, it was from DVDFab, i don't use AnyDVD so i don't pay too much attention to AnyDVD fixes. Just grab the free version of DVDFab and get the movie ripped..AnyDVD will no doubt be updated again soon
