Earlier this week I updated my BIOS on a Dell Inspiron 1720 I have. Since its a laptop, and doesn't have a floppy, I updated it via a Windows exe file I got from the Dell website.

While the update went fine, updating my BIOS from A02 to A08 I can't delete the exe, when I try Windows claims its "in use".

Also, I can't see the exe's name in the "processes" list so I can't "end" it.

Thanks for any help, sorry if this is in the wrong section, the other place I thought of putting it was "All other topics" but it seemed to fit here better.

    Peace

Thanks ddp, I couldn't get it to delete in safemode and it wasn't in the startup tab of msconfig. However, I then used KillBox which got rid of it.
