Okay im trying to burn some anime (Mobile Suit Gundam 00) for a friend. The files are mkv and im using ConvertXtoDVD V3. I completed 1 DVD and everything turned out exactly how i wanted with one exception. Every once awhile there will be multiple characters talking (ex. a newscast will be broadcasting and someone will make a comment) I can play it properly on windows media player classic with the cccp(?) codec but VLC and the newly made DVD both refuse to show the subs properly. Theres not really many options so i was wondering if anyone knows a fix. Thanks.
media player classic plays fine. i downloaded a codec called "Combined Community Codec Pack". When 2 people are talking, it highlights them in different colours. VLC plays the video but when 2 people are found talking the text overlaps eachother, which basically makes everything unreadable. I found this pic on a google search: http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e324/deathstriker666/vlcsnap-14430688.png the completed DVD doesnt overlap the text but it completely ignores the secondary person talking. basically whoever was talking first will have the subtitles displayed and the other persons wont show at all. once again its a mkv file with internal subtitles. im assuming that theres no simple fix =/
