Hey Guys I've been reading through previous threads trying to figure out how to get rid of the Myzor worm...here's what i've done. Downloaded Spysweeper and after waiting for it to scan my pc it shows me what it found but no way to delete w/o paying....I'm too broke to buy. So, I download ewido and scan and delete everything it finds in safe mode. I then try to run SmithFraudFix er the instructions but it says I'm missing process.exe file. When I try to launch Explorer it still directs med to another site rather than my home page and I get warnings about the Myzor worm. Any help would be most appreciated. I'm not the most pc savvy guy in the world...but I'm game to try. TIA for any help. Danno

Check and fix these, they are'nt needed on startup O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE O4 - Global Startup: hp center UI.lnk = C:\Program Files\hp center\137903\Shadow\ShadowBar.exe I need to see Panda Report to go any further. or are things ok?
ok mata Fixed the two things you told me to. For some reason when I click your link, it takes me to Panda website. I then click on 'scan your pc' and it opens up a window that is about half size maximized...I can click the 'check now' and it scans but when finished never shows a log..at least that I can see in a half sized window...weird. Anyway, myzor is gone...pc seems to be running normally, and I owe you a couple beers if you ever find yourself starnded in Iowa. Thanks alot...your help is very much appreciated. Danno
