I have always used 4x dvd+r to burn my movies. But lately i have had a hard time finding the 4x. The online store i order from said they have been discontinued. I even looked tonight for 4x dvd-r, but only find 8x and up. What is happening to the 4x? I have burned 8x, but the movie freezes and skips. Is there a way to get the 8x to work? I use dvd decrypter, dvd to one, and nero burn. I would really appreciate any help.
I think if there is no relevant difference of price get the 8x ones,but the thing you did wrong with them to make them freeze and skip was that you probably burned them at 8x.If you did get them and set the speed on you burning software(wichever one you use) to 4x.I`ve never burned a dvd at more than 4x and i never had a anything wrong with them.Good luck on your buy.
