hi i've just got my dreambox 500s working and still trying to get my head round it but what i have noticed is i cant find the epg how do i get onto this, thats if i can.thanks very much.
the most wonderful problem of the dm500s. yes you get picture, no you dont get epg. why? you need memory to store epg. the dm500s has minimal flash memory and no external memory. two options. upgrade to a dreambox that has a usb connection (i have a 7 day epg on my dm800 via a usb drive connected to the back of the dm800) or consider buying a NAS( a network memory system that connects to your router). worst case you can share memory with your dm500 via your windows pc but that means your pc must be on all the time. i recommend you get a network connected share drive (large one eg. 1TB) where you can store both EPG and movies
