Can't find my xbox IP address

I bought a second xbox, but I can't find the ip address. it shows up as 0.0.0.0.

How do I find out what the ip address is? I have tried slayer's disc.

 

Have you got the Xbox modded?

It need to be modded to change and set addresses correctly!

 

OK. I tried it, but it didn't work. This is what I get when I do IPconfig:

IP:24.235.142.114
Subnet Mask:255.255.240.0
Default Gateway:24.235.128.1

What do I do?

 

What are you talking about. You either A. Have the xbox automatically detect internet settings from your router. I don't usually recommend this because i always get a closed NAT setting. Or go to www.portforward.com read on how to setup a router properly and then assign your xbox an ip number.

My network consists of my computer and 2 xbox 36o's. I manually assigned their ip address so they are static and then inputed those ip address in my router. My computer is 192.168.0.101, xbox .102, other xbox .103

 

I am using a network switch. that is what come up when I type ipconfig under the cmd.
