When I open certain programs I am getting an error message saying that this netrap.dll file cannot be found. I've looked around and couldn't find out much about so I was wondering if someone here could help me with it. Thx!!

best you just download the file @ the link I gave you and plunk it in your Windows\System32 folder -- then reboot. Unless you missing some other file !

BUT if you want to do it the pro way -- have a look at this link :-

    http://www.theeldergeek.com/repairing_windows_xp.htm

-- scroll to the bottom where it says "" Recovery Console: In the progression of repair items for XP, Recovery Console is the next logical step if Last Known Good Configuration and Safe Mode have failed in allowing the system to boot. As Microsoft states, "This method is recommended only if you are an advanced user who can use basic commands to identify and locate problem drivers and files."

Access the Recovery Console: Start the computer with the Windows XP installation CD in the CD drive. When prompted during text-mode setup, press R to start the Recovery Console. "" and follow the instructions !
