The Computer Is an HP 4000 and they Were Made in 05. Still, I Would Look Around for a Newer Drive. I Also Would Like To Know If They Were 8X.
i seen that in a previous post, and what made me surprised by the lack of support. Even looking under its Toshiba model# was unsuccessful.
They are both 16x. Check driver and said it is up to date. Just did a reformat last week end, but it had the same prob then. Any way up and runnin. Thanks again oh ya i set it to burn at 8x
